EVERS, Harmina "Minnie" Evers (nee Woudstra) - Long time devoted volunteer of, the Association of Hospital Volunteers Bowmanville, the New to You Shoppe, Missions Thrift Store, and the Red Cross.
Passed away after a short battle with cancer, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, on Tuesday August 28, 2018, at the age of 83.
Beloved wife and travel companion of 63 years to Gerrit.
Loving mother of William Evers, Cathy (Brian) Bubar, and Rick Evers (Amanda Stoner).
Loved Nanny and Oma of 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Dick, the late Walter, the late Herman, and the late Ike.
Will also be missed by her extended family, in-laws, nieces and nephews, and friends. Minnie will be remembered for her beautiful works with a pair of needles in her hand, whether it be knitting, quilting, or sewing, she always had a project on the go for someone or for charity.
Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Bowmanville, on Thursday August 30th from 12 – 1 pm. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Association of Hospital Volunteers Bowmanville or to a charity of choice.
