NURSE, E.V. 'Mae' - On Saturday, September 8, 2018, Mae Nurse passed away peacefully after a beautiful life.
Mae was the cherished wife of William S. 'Bill' Nurse who passed in 2016 after nearly 70 years of marriage.
Mary and Anne (Ray Richardson) were proud of their strong and faithful Mom. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Barbara Winter (Christopher Fleetham), William and Andrew Richardson.
She shared an extraordinary life with her treasured sister, Jacqueline Wellman, who will profoundly miss their close bond.
Mae graduated from the University of Toronto in 1947 where she met her lifelong friends. She created the strong family dynamic from which Bill could flourish in his business, Nurse Chevrolet Cadillac, Whitby.
Mae’s passion for faith, family, friends, community and the arts was unwavering.She will be deeply missed.

A Service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance will be held Monday September 24th at St. Paul’s Bloor Street, 227 Bloor Street East, Toronto. Reception 12:00 - 1:15 in the Great Hall, St. Paul’s. Service 1:30 in the Sanctuary at St. Paul’s.
