LOCKHART, Rev. Dr. Frank - Passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday October 3, 2018, at the age of 84.
Beloved husband of June Marie (nee Rothwell).
Loving father of Christine Lockhart, Barbara Lockhart (John Mackinnon) and Robert Lockhart.
Cherished granddad of Elizabeth Lockhart, Meaghan McNeill and Andrew McNeill. Dear step-brother of John Ball and predeceased by Roy Lockhart and Enid Wortley.
Frank was a longtime United Church Minister, most recently at Kendal United Church. He held Masters degrees in Philosophy, Divinity and Theology as well as a Doctorate in Theology. He was a passionate advocate for Bowmanville Valleys 2000, and enjoyed his trips to his beloved Prince Edward Island every summer.
Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Bowmanville on Tuesday October 9th from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm. A Legion Service will be held at 7 pm. A Funeral will be held at TRINITY UNITED CHURCH, 116 Church Street Bowmanville on Wednesday October 10th at 11 am. Private interment will be held in Toronto.
