BAILEY, Charles “Chuck”  - 1935 – 2018 With heavy hearts we announce the passing of a loving Father and Grandfather at the age of 83.

After a courageous battle with Congestive Heart Failure and various other health issues due to being born with severe Scoliosis, Chuck made his transition to peace on November 6th, 2018 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.

Predeceased by his wife Diane Bailey (nee Coates) who passed away at the age of 52 in 1997, he will be deeply missed by his surviving children Christine, Pamela, Kevin and Susan as well as brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.

He was an adored Grandpa/Papa to Michael, Kristin, Kari, Sarah, Samantha, Raine, Wyatt, Paige and Great Grandfather to Aubree.

Despite his scoliosis disability Chuck lived life to the fullest.

Chuck will be fondly remembered by many for his love of horse races, fishing, hockey, bowling and his continuous jovial singing. We will always remember him singing Crystal Chandelier to all his children among many other favourites. Chuck is remembered by many truckers who met him during his long career as a Dispatcher for Harnden & King Construction, now Hard-Co Sand and Gravel.

We may grieve forever, but it just means we will love you forever.

Rest in peace Dad, your numbers came up and we know you will be a winner in heaven!

Thank you for being you.

In memory of Chuck, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
