BLAIRE, Elizabeth Margaret (nee Adamson) - 1921 – 2018 It is with great sadness and love that the Blaire family announces the passing of Betty Blaire on November 8, 2018 in Chilliwack B.C.
Born in Port Hope, Ontario on February 16th, 1921 to Eleanor Maude Walker and Frederick Byron Adamson.
Predeceased by her husband William Ellseworth Blaire, sister Phyllis Linn and brother Ronald Adamson.
Betty was a member of St. George’s Anglican Church in Pickering Village.
Betty was loved and will be deeply missed by son David Ellseworth Blaire and his spouse Warren Ewart and daughter Dale Elizabeth Blaire - Nowasad and her spouse Michael Nowasad.
Betty was a wonderful grandmother to James Lockwood and Shawn Tan and cherished great grandmother to Taro and Ajia Rae. She was very special and adored by her nephew Kenneth Lynn.
Family and friends will be received at the McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax, on Friday, November 16 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St.George’s Anglican Church (77 Randall Court, Ajax Ontario with interment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. George’s Anglican Church.
