AKEHURST, Donald Charles Fenton - (March 5, 1933 – December 7, 2018)
Donald passed away peacefully at the age of 85 at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, with close friends and family by his side.
Donald will be sadly missed by his children, Suzanne, Stephen and Jonathan, and his grandchildren, Eva and Maia.
He will be fondly remembered by his nieces Debbie Silk and Susie Bergin, his cousin Alex Jameson, his former daughter-in-law Anja Akehurst, and his many friends in the Beaverton area.
Donald was predeceased by his sister Joan (Silk) and his former wife Jenny (Nykoluk).
Born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Donald graduated from KLCVI and then moved to Toronto, where he worked for many years at Imperial Life. He spent his retirement years enjoying cottage life on the Talbot River.
At Donald's request, there will be no service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date/
