Boake HelenBOAKE, Helen (Deverell) - Passed away peacefully at Haliburton Extendicare on January 2, 2019.

Beloved wife of the late Homer Boake.

Loving mother of Catherine (Haliburton) and Marilyn (Ottawa).

Dear sister-in-law of Thelma Devine, and Ken and Mary Boake, all of Lindsay.

Daughter of the late Robert and Daisy Deverell.

 
The Deverell family has been part of the history of Whitby, and in her heart, Helen always considered Whitby to be her home.
 
She was a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Whitby Chapter #24.

She enjoyed gardening, travelling with her husband, and spending time with her family.

Visitation will be held at W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby, on Friday January 11th, 2019 at 11 a.m. with a Celebration of Helen's Life to commence at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Oshawa. Cremation has taken place.

Special thanks to the Staff at Extendicare in Haliburton for their dedication, humour, and kindness to Helen.
