MIDDLETON, Joan D. - Passed away quietly surrounded by family after a battle with Alzheimer’s, on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, at the age of 85.
Joan will be dearly missed by her beloved husband of 66 years, Ron Middleton of Lindsay, formerly of Port Perry.
Loving mother of Joanne Howsam (Rick Furlotte), Terri Vidricaire (Michel), Donna Forder (Brian), and Cheryl Morrisey (William). Pre-deceased by her son-in-law, Glen Howsam.
Loving and cherished Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Joan is pre-deceased by her parents, Ray and Alice Cook, and seven siblings.
Family and friends will be received for visitation at the Low and Low Funeral Home, Port Perry, on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. A Celebration of the life of Joan will be held in the chapel at 2:00 pm, with a reception to follow at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, Palliative Care at Ross Memorial Hospital, or to a charity special to you, would be appreciated.
