Ulanicki MieczyslawaULNACKI, Mieczyslawa (nee: Bodzak)  - November 7, 1925February 24, 2019

Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday February 24th, 2019, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 93.

She was predeceased by her parents Zofia Bodzak (nee Wegrzyn) and Stanislaw Bodzak.

Beloved wife of late Eugeniusz (who passed away in 1986) and Peter Czmielewski (who passed away in 1999).

Much loved mother of Marek Ulanicki and Paul Ulanicki.

Her memory will be cherished by her grandchildren Aleksander, Nikolaus, Jonathan and Tyler.

Step grandmother to Danielle, Stephanie, and Taylor. Great-grandmother of Finnley, Colby, and Casey.

Mieczyslawa was born in Lublin, Poland where she lived and worked until she moved to Oshawa in 1958 after she was married.

She was a long time member of the Ladies Auxiliary at General W. Sikorski Polish Veterans’ Association, where she proudly held the Secretary post for many years.

Mieczyslawa touched the hearts of all who knew her, especially with her warm smile. We will fondly remember Mieczyslawaand she will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all her family and many dear friends.

She is in peace now and for that we are thankful. Although her journey in this world has ended, her stories will live on for a very long time.

Visitation will be heldat the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME ,847 King Street West, Oshawa, on Thursday February 28thfrom 2 pm-4 pm & 6 pm-8 pm, with a rosary prayer service at 7 pm.

Funeral Mass will be held at ST. HEDWIG’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 411 Olive Avenue Oshawa on Friday March 1st at 11:00 am.  Mieczyslawa will be laid to rest in Resurrection Cemetery (355 Taunton Rd, E, Whitby) following the service.
