Peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday April 17, 2017 at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay in his 92nd year.
Archie, beloved husband of the late Bernice “Bud” Dewey (nee Pickering) (2013).
Much loved father of Suzanne (Paul Martin) and Danny Dewey (Cathy).
Proud grandfather of David (Melissa), Lori (Dan), and Derek (Ashley). Great-grandfather of Katy, Cameron, Cole, Drake, Lyla, Kaitlin and Thomas.
Archie is predeceased by his parents John and Mabel Dewey and his brother and sister in law Richard Dewey (Lorna). He will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to the staff at Extendicare Lindsay and Ross Memorial Hospital for the kind and loving care given to Archie. Friends may call at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Monday April 22nd from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday April 23rd at 1pm. Interment Oshawa Union Cemetery.
