KOBOLD, Paul Leonard Kobold  - With great sadness we announce the passing of the “legend” Paul Leonard Kobold. Paul passed away the afternoon of April 22nd, 2019 at Lakeridge Health Port Perry Hospital with his children Lindsey and Kevin by his side.

Paul was predeceased by his loving wife and life partner of 38 years, Nancy Kobold. Survived by his children Lindsey and Kevin Kobold, daughter-in-law Sarah Kobold and grandson Brycen Kobold.

Predeceased by his parents George Kobold and Dorothy MacLeod and survived by his brothers Kirk Kobold and Gregory Kobold.

Paul was born on August 12th, 1955 and grew up in east Toronto where he met his future wife and the mother of his children. He started his career working in the municipal sector as an arborist and retired from the City of Toronto as a manager of forestry.

Paul was a loving husband and father who centered his life on his family, the family cottage and providing the best life he could for his children.

Paul and Nancy shared a lifetime of memories and he cared for her deeply until her passing in January of 2018.

Paul met so many people through his life and was able to leave a positive impact on those he knew through his outgoing personality, charisma and often, strange humour.

“One day I’ll be gone and then you’ll miss me.” - Paul Kobold, ending countless arguments with his children… and who knows who else.

A visitation/memorial will be held Tuesday April 30th, 2019 at the Rotary Park Pavilion located in south Ajax.

Visitation times will be from 2-4PM and from 6-8PM. Please join us to celebrate the life of Paul Kobold. 177 Lake Driveway West, Ajax ON L1S 7J1.
