BERKERS, Karel “Charlie” - Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday June 2, 2019 in his 89th year.
Beloved husband of Catharine for 63 years.
Loving father of Gary (Brenda), John (predeceased Brenda), Henrietta (Rob), and Harry (Melanie).
Dear Grandpa of Tammy (Jay), Shelley (Will), Caroline, Josh, and great-grandfather of Harmony.
Coming from a family of 17 children, Charlie was the fifth oldest.
Survived by his siblings Wilamina, Jerry, and Elsie.
Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery to follow.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
