TRUSZINSKI, Lisa Emma Adelina (nee Bruning) - Entered into eternal rest in her 85th year on June 3, 2019 at Streamway Villa Retirement home in Cobourg, Ontario.
Lisa was born in Hoya, Germany on November 1, 1934.
Lisa married her life partner Erich Truszinski in 1951 in Germany and they emigrated to Canada with their three young children in 1959 with one more child to follow in Ontario in 1963.
Lisa lived many different places, in Germany and Ontario in Toronto, Pickering, Warkworth,
Whitby, and Cobourg. Lisa enjoyed being an active member and was deeply rooted in her faith with The New Apostolic Church.
She will always be remembered for her cheerful smile. Her favourite past-times included keeping in close contact with her family and friends here in Canada and Germany, and church involvement. She is fondly and gratefully remembered by family and friends for all the joy and pleasure she regularly brought into their lives.
Lisa was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Marie Louise Rosenborok and Derrick Johan Bruning, her loving husband Erich, her son Ronny, her infant daughter Babel, and her first grandson Jason. She will forever be remembered and cherished by her loving children, Gina (Bill), Peter (Susan), Stefanie (Brad), and her loving sister Ulla (Kurt) and brother Reinhart both in Germany.
She was proud Omi and will be missed but forever remembered by 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Lisa will also be sadly missed by Hans (Nancy) and many other nieces and nephews in Germany.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to noon Saturday June 8, 2019 at the New Apostolic Church 465 Kingston Road West, Ajax, Ontario then a funeral service will follow at noon in the same location. Interment to follow in Pickering Ontario.
