DOBBS, Conway Graham  -  Age 92.  Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, Sunday June 16th 2019.

Son of the late Lieut. Conway Edward Dobbs (1945) and late Jane Isobel Dobbs (Collingwood).

Brother to the late Elaine Virginia Dobbs.

Beloved husband of the late Catherine Dobbs (Hamilton) (1982).
Dedicated father to David, Glenn, Danny (2007), Robert, Paul (Lillian).

Story-telling grandfather to Katrina (Mike), Conaully and Colten.
Ridley College graduate, boxer, stock car racer, sign maker, carpenter, HAM radio operator (VE3 MUN), hockey coach, Toronto speed skate champion, fisherman, sax player, golfer, and above all - Salesman.

Conway traveled the country and continent for much of his early decades using his exceptional people skills to close the deal on anything from encyclopedias, vacuums, furniture, 80s car cell phones, to investment jewelry and more.

A unique spirit whose adventures included sharing a room at boarding school with Lord Montague and class with Peter Worthington, and creating sales teams composed of people with fascinating futures ahead of them (such as Donovan Bailey). He was still actively riding a bicycle he made himself, out wood, this month! He lived life his way, independent to the end, surrounded by family, and will be greatly missed on so many levels.

Visitation at McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax, Tuesday June 25th, 7pm-9pm.  Interment of ashes with his beloved wife, with a graveside service, Friday June 28th, 11am at Erskine Cemetery, Pickering.

With thanks to the staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa palliative care unit, Dr. Youssef, Dr. McAllister, and CEO Mr. Anderson for their care and assistance. Donations to the John Howard Society Durham or charity of your choice.
