CORRIGAN, Mary Elizabeth (nee: O’Connor) - Born and raised in Whitby, Ontario, she passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday July 11, 2019, in her 95th year.
Predeceased by her loving husband Joseph “Joe” Dennis Corrigan.
Beloved mother of JoAnne Corrigan, John (late Donna), Joseph (Joan), Sheila Power (Paul), Patrick (Kath), and Theresa Briscoe (Lorne).
Cherished grandmother of Peter & Graeme Corrigan, Matthew (Jamie) & Christopher Power, Ryan (Dawn), Adam & Brendan Corrigan, and Bobby Briscoe.
Great-grandmother of Gabriela & Roman Corrigan, and Lennox Power.
Predeceased by her brother Joseph (Irene) O’Connor, her sister Teresa Kieffer (Joseph), as well as her brothers-in-law Vincent & Hubert Corrigan, and sisters-in-law Hanora & Margaret Corrigan, and Theresa Power (Edward).
Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street East, Oshawa, (905) 433-4711, for Visitation Monday July 15th from 2pm – 4pm & 6pm – 8pm, with prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of the People Roman Catholic Church Tuesday July 16th at 11am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery Whitby.
