Peacefully, at Extendicare Oshawa in her 100th year.
Beloved wife of the late Neil Arthur Smith (1977).
Loving mother of Joan (Rick) Beare, Ruth (Brian) Healey, Brian (Diane) Smith, and Marlene Jobb.
Dear grandmother of Allison (Dan) Saul, Brooke (Scott) MacLennan, Michael (Angela) Healey, Kelley Healey, Stephen and Elizabeth Smith, Caitlin (Dave) Stone, Alexandra (Joe) Bolahood, and Ethan (Jenn) Jobb.
Loved great-grandma Ruby of Mackenzie and Ben Saul, Jacob and Zachary MacLennan, Owen Healey, Hudson and Henry Stone, Ella, Charlotte and Colton Bolahood.
Sister-in-law of Glenn and Mary June Smith and the late Don and Doreen Smith.
Predeceased by her siblings Verna (Fred) Samis, Vera (Les) Wotten, Clara (Vin) Reddings, Fred (Ruby) Griffin and Celia (Rae) Cowling. Special aunt to many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express our sincere thanks to Extendicare Nursing Home for the wonderful love and care given to mom over the last four years.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 10:15 – 11 a.m. at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa).
A Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment Union Cemetery, Oshawa.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to Columbus Community United Church or a CHARITY of your choice.
