PIPER, David "Dave" Roy Piper - May 20, 1944- March 24, 2022
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Roy Piper on March 24, 2022.
Pre-deceased by his beloved wife of 47 years, Anne.
Loving Father to Scott (Stacey), Jay (Meghan) and Kristy.
Proud Grampa to Kyla and Jordan.
He will be greatly missed by his sister-in-law Lynn, cousin Sharon, best buddy Bob and all who knew him.
Dave was a social butterfly that will be especially remembered for his big heart, cheeky sense of humour and love of sports, especially the Toronto Maple Leafs.
His altruistic nature shone through his commitment to his community where he was known to many as Scouter Dave, Coach Dave, “bags” or his favourite role, Santa.
His volunteer work continued post retirement from the TTC with the Canadian Progress Club where he will be remembered as caring and passionate.
We can only hope mom and dad have been reunited again for eternity.
