COVERT, Jennifer Covert    -  June 8, 1974 - March 20, 2022

Through no lack of courage, grit, stubbornness, and determination, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jennifer Covert (nee Burley) on March 20, 2022 with her mom by her side.

Jenny was a cherished and devoted Mom to Abby and Blair Covert and loving daughter of Jim and Linda Burley.

She will be sadly missed by her siblings Matt (Mel), Craig (Teshia), Kathy (Jon), and her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

While in Toronto, they would often visit their cousins Tim, Tricia, Danica, and Adara.

Their continued friendship and support throughout Jenny’s life and illness were incredibly important to Jenny. All of the visits, texts, and words of encouragement helped her get through the day just that much happier. For those moments of joy, we thank you.

First and foremost, Dr. Mulé.  Thank you for your invaluable advice over the years. Jenny really connected with you and considered you a friend. While your phone calls and visits were not always fun, they were a welcome part of her day.

We would also like to thank the wonderful and compassionate nurses and staff at NHH Chemo Clinic, St. Elizabeth’s, Community Care, and Ed’s House.

A celebration of life will be held at Centreton Hall on Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 1-3 pm.

If you are inclined to make a donation, please consider giving to Ed’s House (https://edshouse.northumberlandhospice.ca/) where Jenny’s last days were made as comfortable as possible with their caring and supportive staff.

May the blessings of a good life lived follow you into heaven.
