MCCULLOUGH, Kevin John McCullough  -  With sadness, the family of Kevin J. McCullough announce his peaceful passing on February 24, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with family by his side.

Born in Ajax, Ontario on Christmas Eve (December 24, 1959), son of the late Murray McCullough and Maureen (nee Horner) McCullough.

He is survived by his beloved wife Eleanor (‘Ellie’) Fisk, son Sean (Jaclyn), siblings Ellen, Keith, Jennifer, and (lil) Murray (Laura), stepson Dale (Melissa), and his tail wagging companion Melia.

Kevin grew up on a small farm in north Ajax with his three younger siblings.

During his early years, he was an avid skier and sailor. Later in life, Kevin pursued a fulfilling career at Honda Canada, which enabled him to enjoy his lifelong passion for motorcycles and offroad riding.

Kevin also loved travelling Central America where he’d often be seen sporting his brimmed hat, sunglasses and button-down shirt.

In retirement, he loved working at Mosport, where he would watch the races and the wildlife. At home, he’ll be most remembered walking around in his comfortable moccasins and chatting with the passing neighbours from his garage. Always known to tinker around the garage, house and garden, he was always a helping hand and a guiding figure.

Kevin will always be remembered for his sense of humour, wit, and smile, which he carried with him even throughout his time in hospital and will live on with his family and friends.

A celebration of life will be scheduled in the coming months where we welcome family and friends to share stories, memories and a drink with Kevin.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Scarborough Health Network Foundation, the Lakeridge Health Foundation, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
