HANSEN, Thomas Miller  -  Tom passed away on Monday June 5, 2023 at Oak Ridges Hospice, Port Perry after a valiant fight against an aggressive cancer.

He leaves behind his beloved sons: Paul, Jeff (Sarah) and Dan (Ashh); his heartbroken siblings- Sharon Wilbee, Lynda Ford (Wayne), Barb Barfoot, Judy Huhn (Jurgen), Carol Hansen, Jim Hansen (Marie), John Hansen(Joanne) and Carl Hansen.

He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews and also by his lifelong friend & buddy Paul Wiley.

He was predeceased by his parents John and Evelyn Hansen, his sister Karen and his infant sister Dale.

First time grandparenthood eluded Tom by a couple of weeks. Oh he'd have had fun!

Tom had a wicked sense of humour. Conversations were usually laced with laughter-jokes rolled off his tongue.

He loved a good discussion (usually political) and was prompt to make known his opinion.

He's back Evy!

Tom was an amazing cook and he enjoyed preparing food for others. Saturday breakfasts at the Marina were the best!

He enjoyed golfing, reading, gardening and Seinfeld- of which he knew every word of every episode.

Tom was so loved and he will be hugely missed.

At his request there will be no funeral service and, as per his wishes, his body has been donated to Medical Research.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Donations in his memory to Community Living Durham North would be appreciated by the family.
