July 1, 1934 - June 11, 2023
In loving memory of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, the family wishes to share the news of the peaceful passing of Glenna on Sunday, June 11, 2023.
Loving wife of the late Deane; mother to Stephen (Sheila), Susan, Barbara Jane (Rob), and Bill (Sheila).
She also enjoyed time with her lovely grandchildren and great-grandchild.
After graduating as a nurse from Toronto General Hospital in 1955, Glenna devoted her life to family and friends, delighted in her work with children, and treasured time spent travelling with Deane.
She spent many happy hours puttering in her garden, listening to music and birdwatching.
Visitation will be held at W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL (110 Dundas Street East, Whitby) on Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Funeral will follow at 1 p.m. Interment at GROVESIDE CEMETERY .
Donations in Memory of Glenna may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Grandview Kids Foundation.
