Jealouse RaymondJEALOUSE, Raymond Henry Jealouse  -  With his family by his side, Raymond Henry Jealouse passed safely and quietly into the arms of Jesus, His Lord and Saviour, on Wednesday, June 21st, 2023 at the age of 86.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Beverley, his four children, Debbie and her husband Uli,

Dan and his wife Karen, Mark and his wife Laurie and Steve and his wife Karen.

He was an amazing grampa and great grampa to Amy and her children Judah, Isaiah, Boaz & Jethro; Kati & Matt and their children Faith, Riley & Renee; Jon & Allie, Josh & Katlyn, Jennifer, Jillian; Daniel, Noah, Sarah, Josh & Karina and their children Asaiah & Issac; Rachel; Hadi and Stephen.

He will be missed by his sisters, Audrey and Lauretta and Bev’s siblings Eleanor, Lloyd, and Donna, and all of their extended families, as well as many other church friends and missionary families.

Born in Victoria BC, Ray received the gift of salvation as a young child and always put Jesus first in everything he did.  This included spending 20+ years in Kenya as a missionary with his wife and family as a printer and builder.

When his failing health brought him back to Oshawa, Ont. in 1980, he continued to oversee many building and water projects from afar.  His heart was always in Kenya.

Always one to share the gospel with everyone he met, he mentored many and was a joyful visitor to anyone who needed him.  He loved to read, do sudoku puzzles and made many handmade wood or cross stitch items that he shared with all those he loved.

Ray’s greatest loves came from his study of God’s word and praying daily for his many family members and friends.  Ray certainly heard “Well done thou good and faithful servant. . .  enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.”  Flowers are gratefully declined.

Donations to Africa Inland Mission in memory of Ray would be appreciated.  Thank you!

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Tuesday, June 27th, from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm at McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558)

The Celebration of Life service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church 300 Rossland Road E. in Oshawa (905-433-2960) on Wednesday, June 28th at 11:00 am.
