Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday August 17th, 2023 at the age of 77.
Loved wife of the late Brendan (2017). Cherished Mum of Karen Hifawi and her husband Sam of Toronto and Kathy McGhee and her husband Martin of Oshawa.
Predeceased by her sons Brendan Jr., Paul and Martin.
Much loved Nana of Joseph, Jonathan, Megan, Jade, Aidan, Kieran, Abbey and Emma. Great Nana of Orla.
Dearest sister of Brighid, Ted, Kate, Mona and Aidan. Predeceased by her brother Pearse. Bernadette will be fondly remembered by the extended McGrath family.
Visitation at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Monday August 21st, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church Tuesday, August 22nd at 9:30 am.
Interment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
In memory of Bernadette memorial donations to the Durham Regional Cancer Center at Lakeridge Health would be appreciated.
