Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Oak Ridges Hospice on Saturday, August 19th, 2023 at 59 years of age.
Beloved husband of Judy (nee Keenan) for 30 years.
Loving father of Tara Bartolini (Chris), Troy Mitchell (Rebecca), Stephen Mitchell, Sandra Mitchell and his fur-baby Cooper.
Cherished Grampa of Jackson, Sienna, Briar and Sadye.
Dear son of the late Sandra and Eugene Gauthier and the late Albert Gordon Mitchell.
Gord will be sadly missed by his brothers and sister Brenda Keenan, Michael Mitchell, Roger Gauthier and Terry Gauthier.
He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, August 24 from 3 – 5 and 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Clarington Hospice would be appreciated.
