KINGS, Wilma Doreen Kings  -  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wilma Kings, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on September 17, 2023.

Predeceased by her parents, William and Ina, and husband, Tom, who passed away three weeks ago.

This was their love story, they loved each other so much and couldn’t be apart. Survived by siblings, Thomas, Rhonda, Wayne and Patricia. Devoted mother of Lizabeth (David), Angela (Marshall) and Thomas (Wilma).

Proud grandma of Bryan, Gregory, Michelle, Alexandra, Matthew, Mark, Jordan and Jessica.

Great grandmother to Alexis, Jeremy, Emma, Zoe, Hazel and Hudson. Wilma was born in Shelburne, ON on November 24, 1935 and raised in Toronto.

After marrying the love of her life, Tom, and raising three wonderful children, Wilma resumed her career at TD Canada Trust until her retirement in 1999.

She was the best grandma any grandchild could ever want. She was so loving and kind and always there for them.

She had countless photo albums of which she was very proud. She had a passion for travel, casino, reading and read countless books as she enjoyed her retirement years.

Wilma was a wholly unique, energetic, warm-hearted, generous, positive, ambitious, fun-loving individual, always curious about new experiences and people. To the end, Wilma retained all her energy and enthusiasm, truly seeking to enjoy life and live it to the fullest, and we were all better for it.

She will be forever missed. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.

Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
