Booth MargaretBOOTH, Margaret Lenora (nee Dinnick)  -  Margaret peacefully passed into the presence of the Lord and Saviour on Sunday September 17, 2023 in her 96th year.

She leaves behind her cherished husband of 70 years, Jack and children Deb Willoughby (John), Carol West, her grandchildren Jason Willoughby (Susan), Sheri (Nathan) Bailey, Samantha and Austin West as well as great grandchildren, Gavin Willoughby and Izabelle and Skylar Bailey.

Margaret is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Lelia Dinnick and her sister Evelyn Thorburn.

Margaret was born on December 31, 1927 in Toronto Ontario.  She grew up in a Pentecostal Holiness home so she knew and served Jesus since a young child and later felt led to a US Bible College.

Upon returning she returned to administrative work where she met a guy named Jack.

It was because of her that Jack came to know the Lord and on June 6, 1953 they were married.

Together they served the Lord together sharing the gospel message that others could be saved and were actively involved in church ministry including prayer and altar workers, missions, hospitality and phone ministry at 100 Huntley Street Crossroads  and in later years senior events in the church they attended.

Margaret certainly was used in the area of womans ministry and had a heart for intercessory prayer where she spent many hours of the night interceding for others.

Marg had a gift of hospitality and would make any person whether neighbour, friend, church member and even missionary have a place to come and stay and experience deliciously prepared food that made all feel very special and very welcome.

She knew how to dress up a table and even make favours to add to the setting.  Margaret was known for her stylish fashion with full accessories to compliment.

In their retirement years Marg would continue to help with senior events and making the décor of any room on any occasion be festive.  She enjoyed packing items for church outreach or making a special delicious item for friend or neighbour  and homemade soup to one who was ill in their home.

Margaret’s faith in God reflected in everything she did through her kindness, generous spirit and positivity.
