ROBICHAUD, Anna Marie Robichaud  -

1929 - 2023

With sadness, we wish to announce the passing of our mother and Nana, Anna Marie Robichaud on November 12, peacefully in her sleep at Ballycliffe Nursing Home.

She was born June 15th, 1929 the eleventh of sixteen children in Acadieville, N.B. to Fabien & Elise, both predeceased. Her move to Toronto in 1949 turned out to be a permanent one and where she met the love of her life, Harvey.

They married in July 1954 and went on to have 2 fantastic kids and a grandchild they absolutely adored.

Anna was born a Saturday's Child which says they are hardworking and intelligent individuals and that certainly was true for her.

She loved her condo in Pickering, participating in many activities with the friends she made there, from coffee on Tuesday mornings to Casino Niagara for the day.

Anna is predeceased by her loving husband Harvey, parents Fabien & Elise, Alida (Reg), Theodore (Marguerite), Arthur (Lydia), Camille (Gertie), Alice (Edmund), Alma, Elodie, Alma (Douglas, Dismas), Gerry (Evangeline), Alphonse, Leo (Betty), Eloi (Margaret), Liz (Joe), Anna is survived by her daughter Shirley (Michael), son David (Dawn), Granddaughter Angela, and sisters Yvonne (Hank/Jim), Anita (Buzzy) and many nieces and nephews.

Special heartfelt thanks go to the many staff at Balleycliffe and the PSWs who have help us through this time.

Family and friends are welcome to gather at McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Pickering Village, on Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 2:30 p.m., guests are welcome to gather as early as 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.

A private burial will be held at a later date.
