January 12, 1923 – November 27, 2023
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Bill Featherstone on Monday November 27, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Ajax.
Bill was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary (McCaffery) Featherstone.
He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years, Anne (Spellen).
He is also survived by his children, Pat Cargill (Bob), Bill, Marian Calnan (Tom) and Barbara Hymers (George).
Missing him greatly are his grandchildren, Sarah Hughes (Joe), Kyle Cargill (Carmen), Erin Featherstone (Shawn), Michael Calnan (deceased), Adam Featherstone (Amanda) and Geoffrey Hymers.Bill is also the much-loved Papa GG to Eldon and Everly (Hughes), Madison and Avery (Cargill), and Maeve and Conall (Featherstone). Bill is predeceased by (siblings) Eileen, Margaret, Anthony, May, Jim, Jack and Dorothy.
Bill is survived by many nieces and nephews as well..
Visitation will take place at McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME , 28 Old Kingston Rd Ajax (Pickering Village) on Tuesday December 5th from 3:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will take place at St. Francis de Sales Church, 1001 Ravenscroft Rd Ajax on Wednesday December 6th at 10:30am.
