She is survived by her loving parents, Alberto Merino Ortega and Jessica Burke-Trebell who held her in their hearts from the moment they knew of her existence.
While we grieve the loss of the life we imagined for Isla, we find solace in knowing she is now cradled in the arms of angels, forever at peace.
Though she never took a breath in this world, Isla will forever remain a cherished member of our family.
May her memory be a blessing and may she forever rest in peace.
