READ, June Read - The Read family welcomes prayers, love, and support as we mourn the loss and celebrate the life of our beautiful Matriarch June Isobel Read (nee Page).
June passed away peacefully on the afternoon of May 4, 2024 at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario.
June was predeceased by her brother Harold Allan Page and sister Margaret Woolings. June was adored by her three sons Larry (Marian), Brent (Donna) and Craig.
Grandmother lovingly remembered as “Nanny” to her three granddaughters Tanya Read, Ashlie Read (Austin Gordon), Courtney Read (Connor MacVarish), great grandmother to Zoe Read (Jonathan Blais) and Ava Read, and great-great grandmother to Dezmond Blais.
June will also be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews. June was a strong, loving, and independent woman who still drove and lived on her own. She was bound and determined to do things on her terms, which until the end she did.
Visitation will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home, Port Perry on Monday, May 13th from 1:00-2:00pm. A service to celebrate her beautiful life will be held in the chapel at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family wish for a donation to a charity of your choice.
