Fujimoto YaekoFUJIMOTO, Yaeko (Sally)  - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on March 12, 2017, two weeks shy of her 90th birthday.

She can now again be with her husband, George.

Mom will be missed by her three sons, Richard (Rita), David (Diane) and Victor, as well as the Bachan to her grandchildren, Paul (Marna), Michael, Ken and Melissa and great-grandchildren, Kai and Owen.

She will also be missed by her sister, Haruko and her family. Yaeko, known professionally as Hideya Ogawa, was the Principal (sensei) of the Ogawa-Ryu School of Japanese Classical Dance in Toronto and a founding member of the Konko Church of Toronto.

A memorial service and celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, March 25, 2017, starting at 11:00 a.m., at the Konko Church of Toronto, 398 Kennedy Road in Scarborough.

In lieu of flowers and koden, donations in her honour may be made to the Konko Church or to a CHARITY of your choosing.
