Boyer HenryBOYER, Henry W. (Harry)  - WWII Navy Veteran - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 11, 2017, 6 days after his 97th birthday.

Beloved husband of 68 years to Ina and loving father to David, Helen Hall (John) and Kathy Boyer (Adam Nadolski). Grandfather to Jason, Joshua and the late Kevin.

Harry was an avid sports fan and during his many years at Sandy Cove Acres in Innisfil, Harry became an enthusiastic curler and also played slo-pitch baseball.

During his retirement, Harry volunteered for Habitat For Humanity in Barrie and was a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Medal for service to both his country and his community.  

Harry will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Harry's family wishes to thank the dedicated nursing staff, doctors and volunteers of the Supportive Care Unit at Lakeridge Health Centre - Oshawa Site for their outstanding support, warmth and care provided to Harry and the entire family during his final days.
