Attersley BeckyATTERSLEY, Becky (nee Junkin)  - 6/30/1971 - 3/16/2017

Cherished wife of Steven and beloved mother of Claire.

Forever mourned by her parents, Janis and Wayne Junkin, her sister Katrina Morin and her mother-in-law, Ruth Attersley.

Loving sister-in-law of Michelle and Steve Sadecki.

Most wonderful aunt to Caroline and Beatrix Morin and Ryan and Adam Sadecki.

Born with Spina Bifida, Becky never let her physical challenges stand in her way.

Against all odds, she fulfilled her lifetime dream of motherhood when she gave birth to her beautiful daughter.

Becky was an inspiration to all who knew her - from her many aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as everyone she met through her volunteer work at Grandview Children’s Centre, years spent at Variety Village and as one of the original members of the Durham Hotwheels Sports Club.

A die-hard Leafs and Argos fan, Becky had the strongest, kindest spirit and brought a tremendous amount of joy to everyone she met. She was an inspiration of how to live life to the fullest and to be grateful for all that you have.  Becky’s family would like to thank the hundreds of doctors and nursing staff who always took excellent care of her and kept Becky with us for 45 wonderful years.

Family and friends will be received at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby (North of Hwy 2) 905-443-3376 on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 6 -9 pm and again on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 10 am until the time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 11 am. Reception to follow.
