James was born in Ireland and worked his early life there until 1954 when he immigrated to Canada and spent his remaining working days with Miller Paving. His life was marked by his hard work and frugal lifestyle to support his family and to provide for them the best opportunity to be successful. 

James was also a proud life long member of the Royal Arch Masons.

Many thanks to the staff, nurses and doctors at Amica at Swan Lake for their kindness, dedication and support over the last 7 years.

Funeral service will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge, on Monday, March 27th at 1 p.m. with visitation from one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Valerie Dickson Fund at Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation or a charity of choice.
