Carter DoreenCARTER, Doreen Marie Carter (nee McKeag) - Passed away peacefully into the presence of Jesus, surrounded by family on Tuesday, March 21st, 2017, in her 90th year. 

Loving wife to Dr. Gordon W. Carter, beloved mother to Catherine Carter, Phyllis Till (Lloyd), Jonathan Carter (Rachele Macaulay), and Christopher Carter (Miriam). 

Doreen was a loving and devoted grandmother to Michael & Timothy Donis, Melanie, Peter (Sarah), and Andrew Till,  Joshua, Luke, and Zachary Carter, Calvin and Amy Carter, and a proud great-grandmother to Hannah Till.

Fondly remembered by her brothers Hugh (Marilyn), Dennis, her sister Gail and brother-in-law John.

Doreen was born and raised in Toronto. She was a woman who had an unwavering faith in her Saviour Jesus.

She served her Lord through a lifetime of committed church work, over 15 years of missionary work in Africa alongside her beloved Gordon, English as a Second language teaching, and a vibrant interest in biblical faith as a graduate of Toronto Bible College. 

She loved God, but also loved beautiful things with a great flair for interior design and fashion. 

A strong woman with a gentle spirit, she will be greatly missed by family and friends alike.
