Born in Toronto in 1960, Mike attended Thornhill Secondary High School going on to graduate from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Hons) in 1983 and Masters of Applied Science in 1985.

Following in the footsteps of his father, Mike’s engineering career was a mainstay in his life. He joined Eco-Tec in 1990 and became Vice-President of Technology Development several years later. Mike was truly one of life’s genuine and special individuals. His infamous wit; which he inherited from his mother, absolute joy of family life and unaffected kind manner were his trademarks.

He was an avid reader and knowledgeable about many subjects. If anyone had a question, we would “Page The Oracle”. Growing up, sailing was a big part of his life and this was to be resumed with the purchase of a sailboat last year.

Family and friends will be received at the Low and Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge, for visitation on Friday, March 31st from 7-9p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 70 Toronto St. N., Uxbridge on Saturday, April 1st at 11a.m. with a reception in Mike’s honour directly following. Private interment.

The family kindly declines flowers, but in place asks for donations to a charity important to Mike; Cam’s Kids.
