BREWSTER, Viva Laurine (nee MOORES)  - Was suddenly lost on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 in Peterborough, Ontario.

Born in Stellarton, Nova Scotia, Laurine was a coal miner's daughter who relocated to Ontario with her husband, Norman, and their future with one cardboard suitcase.

Although having been a teacher in Nova Scotia she was a homemaker in Ontario and focused on her family, friends and her hobbies, weaving, doll making and her dogs - Coltan, Seamus, Greggie and Shelley.

She will be dearly missed by her husband Norman, children Nicole (Ariel), Jason (Pamela) and Natalie (Tricia) and her grandchildren Abigail and Jessica, Riley and Lucas and Hannah and Autumn.

 

The family invites friends to McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax, 905-428-8488, in Pickering Village, on Friday, April 28th to attend visitation at 11:00 a.m. followed by a service at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel and a reception thereafter.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in Laurine's memory be made to the Peterborough Humane Society.
