      Ontario Junior Hockey League, Whitby Fury Junior A Hockey Club, in conjunction with Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, invite the community to sign a guestbook of condolence at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby in memory of the players and team personnel who lost their lives in Humboldt, Saskatchewan.

    The book will be available daily from  9 a.m. - 8 p.m. until Monday, April 23rd, at which time the book will be sent to the OJHL offices to be sent to the team in Saskatchewan

Hockey sticks will be donated to support minor hockey in our community.

As well, OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL and DIGNITY MEMORIAL will make a donation to support Minor Hockey for every stick collected.

Ruston MaryRUSTON, Mary Alice - (March 7th, 1941 – July 10th, 2017)

(25 year CWL and St. Joseph the Worker Parish member)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, July 10th, 2017 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.

Predeceased by her parents Francis and Margaret Tuepah, her brother Eugene (Lea), son Edward and Joseph’s father, Jim Nash. Beloved wife to Don for 25 years.

Loving mother of Joseph (Peggy), Lawrence (Lynn) and Sherry (John).

Cherished sister to Bernard (Bernadette), Vincent (Brenda), Barbara (Andy) and Bruce.

Lovingly remembered by all her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, July 14th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOSEPH THE WORKER PARISH (1100 Mary Street North, Oshawa) on Saturday July 15th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted for the Denise House.
