      Ontario Junior Hockey League, Whitby Fury Junior A Hockey Club, in conjunction with Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, invite the community to sign a guestbook of condolence at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby in memory of the players and team personnel who lost their lives in Humboldt, Saskatchewan.

    The book will be available daily from  9 a.m. - 8 p.m. until Monday, April 23rd, at which time the book will be sent to the OJHL offices to be sent to the team in Saskatchewan

Hockey sticks will be donated to support minor hockey in our community.

As well, OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL and DIGNITY MEMORIAL will make a donation to support Minor Hockey for every stick collected.

Lamb GeraldLAMB, Gerald Allan  - Entered into rest peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, on Thursday, July 13th, 2017 with his wife and daughter by his side.

Allan was born on September 24th, 1934 in Verlum Township, Ontario.

Loving husband of Beverley (nee McInory) since November 20th, 1959.

Much loved father of Susan Coutu (Mark).

Cherished Poppa of Keith (fiancé Megan McLaughlin) and Jordan (girlfriend Michelle Archer).

Will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Cecil (Joice), Ivan (Yvonne), Ross (Bertha), Dave (Loretta), Gloria Quibell and Dorothy Duvall (Bob).

Predeceased by Eleanor Telford (Ken) and Murray. Dear brother-in-law of Lawrence and Marie Mountjoy and Grant and Sylvia Pascoe. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sadly missed by his fury friends Tabitha and Zoe.

Allan retired from PPG Duplate Canada after 39.5 years of employment. Allan was a leader of the First Oshawa Scouts for several years. He belonged to the Ontario Regiment. He enjoyed being a part of the Sneakers Walking Across Canada Club. Allan was a very devoted church member of Centennial Albert United Church.

Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, July 16th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held at CENTENNIAL ALBERT UNITED CHURCH (40 Rosehill Blvd., Oshawa) on Monday, July 17th at 3:00 p.m. Interment on Tuesday, July 18th at 2:00 p.m. at Friends of St. Peters Church, Verlum Township, ON.

Donations in memory of Allan can be made to The Durham Humane Society or Centennial Albert United Church.
