      Ontario Junior Hockey League, Whitby Fury Junior A Hockey Club, in conjunction with Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, invite the community to sign a guestbook of condolence at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby in memory of the players and team personnel who lost their lives in Humboldt, Saskatchewan.

    The book will be available daily from  9 a.m. - 8 p.m. until Monday, April 23rd, at which time the book will be sent to the OJHL offices to be sent to the team in Saskatchewan

Hockey sticks will be donated to support minor hockey in our community.

As well, OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL and DIGNITY MEMORIAL will make a donation to support Minor Hockey for every stick collected.

Ormiston MarionORMISTON, Marion Kathleen (nee Handzuk)  - (September 19, 1928 - July 30, 2017) - 

We announce the passing of our Mom at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.

Beloved wife of the late Donald (April 2003).

Mother of Dawna Williams (Bill), Lynn Band (Martin) and Guy.

Grandmother of Amy Neil (Pat) and Katye Pearson (Jeremy). Great-grandmother of Charleigh and Hunter Neil and Ellie Pearson.

Mom loved the Blue Jays, Winners and Judge Judy.

Many thanks to the doctors and nurses on 8G.

Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, August 4th from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m.

Interment Mount Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Mom would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
