WILLIAMSON, George Herbert  - Passed peacefully on Sunday October 8th, 2017 at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville at the age of 80.

Beloved husband to Shirley Williamson (nee: Shewchuk) for 56 years.

Son of the late Bruce and Myrtle Williamson. Dear father to Chris (Colin), and Kim. Much loved grandpa to Hailey, Atavia, Kal, Kiran, Riviera, Vicky and Alex.

 

Brother to Tom (Faye), Pat (Rob) and the late Ken. George will be dearly missed by all of his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. George will also be deeply missed by his four legged companion Henry.

Memorial donations may be made to the Odette Cancer Centre (Sunnybrook), or the Durham Humane Society. 

Cremation has taken place.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 29th, from 2:00 - 4:00 at the BOWMANVILLE MARINA. 70 Port Darlington Rd. in Bowmanville.
