GILMER, Phil - Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the age of 83 with his family by his side.
Phil was a life long sports fan who enjoyed baseball, hockey and horse racing. Loving husband of Carolyn for 55 years.
Caring father of Blaine, Kim (Kevin Kellachan) and Ken (Debbie).
Devoted grandfather of Brittany, Alexander, Chris, Jordan (Rebecca), Hayden, Kaitlyn, Erin, Danny and Gracie.
Survived by his brother James (Dorothy). Predeceased by his brothers Lawrence and Raymond. Also missed by his 4 legged companion, Ginger.
A visitation will take place at Morris Funeral Chapel, Bowmanville on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 11am to 1pm. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 1pm. Private interment will take place in Newtonville.
