EVERETT, Horace - WWII Royal Navy Great Britain Communications Specialist: Past Noble Grand & Chaplain of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Brooklin Beethoven Lodge # 165: Long Standing Member of Brooklin United Church: Proud and Devoted Member of the Brooklin United Church Choir, where he passionately participated until very recently: Dedicated Member of the Groveside Cemetery Board.
Passed away at home surrounded by the love of his family on November 4, 2017 at the age of 94.
Beloved husband of the late Gladys Everett (2013).
Loved and loving father of Lesley Wylie and her husband Brad, Tim Everett and Angela Richardson and Daryn Everett and his wife Elizabeth. Predeceased by his infant son Terry.
Cherished grandad of Devan (Jonathan Butler), Danielle, Emily and Hayley. Horace is predeceased by his sister Joyce and his brother Harold.
Lovingly remembered by extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Thursday November 9th from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A funeral service honouring Horace will follow on Friday November 10th at Brooklin United Church at 11:00 a.m.
