BRUCE, John Alexander - Peacefully with his family by his side at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Monday, November 20, 2017 at the age of 76.
Beloved husband of Marg Bruce for over 42 years.
Proud father of Melanie, Stewart, Coleen and her husband Jamie.
Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Jesse, Cole, Griffen, James, Julia and Hank. Cherished brother of Ena and her husband Brian. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
John will be remembered for his love of animals, most importantly his devoted fur friend Tara; his wooden car, built during his time teaching at Fairmount Park School in Toronto and his family heritage home dismantled and then rebuilt in Port Perry.
A memorial service will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home, Port Perry, on Friday, November 24th at 11 a.m. with no visitation prior. A reception will follow on the upper level.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John may be made to the New Uxbridge-Scugog Animal Shelter or the Port Perry Hospital Foundation.
