Whitley BrianWHITLEY, Brian  - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father Brian, on November 28th, 2017 at Markham Stouffville Hospital, surrounded by his loving wife and family.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years, Brigitte, and his children Deborah (Peter) de Ville, Catherine (Chris) Huyer, Paul (Julie), and Kristine (Rob) Carlson.

Brian was the proud and cherished grandfather to Whitley, Kiri, Perry, James, Coby, Adele, Carter, Kate, Reid, Oliver and, soon to arrive, Grace.

Brian was predeceased by his parents Mildred and Joseph Whitley and his brother Tom Whitley (Joanne).

He is survived by Bob (Anne), Bev (Sid) Kerrigan, and Helen (Kevin) Chisholm and many nieces and nephews. Brian was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many, and he will be missed by all.

Brian, and the love of his life and best friend, Brigitte, loved to be surrounded by family and friends and they worked hard to create a home where you always felt welcome. It brought him great joy to watch his children and grandchildren having a great time boating, swimming and skating at the lake.

A special thanks to the staff at Reachview Village and Markham Stouffville Hospital for their care and compassion.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 1st at the Low and Low funeral home, 23 Main St. S., Uxbridge from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. The Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 2nd at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 70 Toronto St. N., Uxbridge beginning at 11a.m.

For those who wish, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Durham. Ar
