It’s with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Lorraine Suddenly with her granddaughter Jennifer at her side after a lengthy battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis on Thursday, November 30, 2017, in her 87th year.

Beloved daughter of the late Charles Lamb and Muriel Lamb (Read). Predeceased by her husband Ivan Lloyd Crawford, and sister Lillian Farrow.

Survived by her four children Donald Crawford of Toronto, ON, Ed Crawford and his wife Suzanne of Dunsford, ON, Paul Crawford and his spouse Cynthia Mountford of Oshawa, ON, and Lynda Smith of Oshawa, ON.

Five grandchildren Jennifer Racioppo and her husband Carl, Elyse Crawford, Casey Crawford, Jake Crawford, and Jessica Jordan and her fiancée Josh Kroepfl. Six great grandchildren Ryan Racioppo-Jordan, Micheal Racioppo-Jordan, Joseph Racioppo, Landon Kroepfl, Kaleb Kroepfl, and Jordan Kroepfl.

She was a member of the Canadian Corps Association #42 Ladies Auxilary since 1975. Lorraine will be greatly missed by extended family and friends. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the PSWs at Sunrise Seniors for their exceptional care of Lorraine.

In keeping with the wishes of Lorraine there will be no funeral service.

She requested a private family internment.

A celebration of life will be held later, an announcement will be made prior to the date.

Arrangements entrusted with MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME.

The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to either the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society, or Community Care Durham.
