Beloved husband of Josephine for 57 years.
Loving father of Bernard Schmidt and his wife Alexandra, Anne Fellini, and Kurt Schmidt and his wife Leeanne.
Devoted Grandad to Pamela, Danielle, Isabelle, Katie, Matthew, Ian and Kyle.
Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Fritz, Gertrude, Anna, Irwin and Richard.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 20th, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
