PANKHURST, Trasna Emma Coroline - With thoughtful sorrow, we remember Trasna Pankhurst, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, who died peacefully on Wedneday December 20, 2017 in her 88th year.

She is survived by her loving husband Ted, daughters Susie (Jazz Austin) and Maryjane (Michael Watt) and son John (Christine).

Trasna was grandmother to nine and great-grandmother to ten all of whom will miss her deeply.

Trasna was born in Tweed, Ontario and grew up in the village of Arden were she met her husband Ted. After settling in Markham, Trasna and Ted built their cottage in Arden where the family spent many happy summers.

Memories of Trasna will be cherished forever.

Friends and family will be received for visitation at the Newcastle Funeral Home, on Wednesday, December 27th from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. A celebration of life for Trasna will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, kindly make a donation to the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation.
