CHELLEW, Gordon Arthur, Jr. - 1932 – 2018
Peacefully at Port Perry Place on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.
Born to Gordon Arthur Chellew and Mary (Love) in Kleinberg, Ontario.
He was much loved and will be greatly missed by his wife Margaret (nee Gibb) and his children Stan, Brent (Sandra), Susan, Karen Kenny (Deane), and Wendy.
Papa will be missed by his grandchildren who loved him very much, Melanie (Tom Comeau), John, Matthew (Jessica), James, Josh, Kaitlyn (Devan Burden), Karlee, and Adam. Gord loved his great grandchildren Jack, Ben and Natalie Comeau, and his many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his sisters Margaret (Bill), Aileen (John), Florence (Walter) and brother Jack. Gord was in the property casualty insurance business since his early 20’s, and ended his career as President of the Insurer’s Advisory Organization Inc.
At Gord’s request, cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held. A Celebration of Life will take place in the spring, with the exact date to be announced.
