FOSTER, Marie  - Peacefully in hospital on Sunday, January 14, 2018 after a short illness.

Loving wife of Rodd Foster of Greenbank for almost 70 years.

Fantastic and devoted mother of Lynne Foster Rose (Bob) of Lagoon City, Reg Foster (Maryann) of Albany, NY, the late Don Foster (Wendy) of Port Perry, John Foster (Kathy) of Port Perry, and Laurie Foster Leduc (Norm) of Whitby.

Loving grandmother to her nine grandchildren Chris Kubbinga (Carolyn), Justin Kubbinga (Machiko), Andrew Foster (Terra), Brett Foster, Janelle Leduc (Kevin), Mike Foster (Katrissa), Emma Foster (Brent), Daniel Leduc, and Sam Foster (Amy).

Loving great grandmother to Camden, Cole, Chloe, Jaiden, Sloan and Lennon.

Marie grew up in Port Perry, the youngest child of the late Morley and the late Vera Moase. Predeceased by her brother, Bryce Moase of Toronto and sister, Jean Wallis of Port Perry. She is fondly remembered by her many friends as a caring, kind and beautiful person inside and out.    

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Uxbridge Cottage Hospital.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the Low and Low Funeral Home, Port Perry, from 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Marie’s life will take place on Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Greenbank United Church, 19991 Hwy 12 (at Cragg Rd.), Greenbank beginning at 2 p.m. A reception in Marie’s honour will immediately follow in the church hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Greenbank United Church Memorial Fund or a charity important to you would be appreciated.
